ジャズ・ピアニストの巨匠“Bill Evans”（ビル・エヴァンス）が1959年に発表した、彼の代表作の1枚である「Portrait in Jazz」がLP+CDでリリース！1962年作「Waltz For Debby」と双璧を成す超名盤です。

「Peri's Scope」はエヴァンスのオリジナル曲で、エヴァンスのガールフレンドのペリが、自分の名前がついた曲がない、とエヴァンスに催促をしてできた。
